Steve O'Dorisio, then & now
Steve grew up in Colorado. His family has deep roots in the metro area and Adams County. He is proud to come from a family that promotes integrity, education, and hard work.
Before being elected County Commissioner, Steve served the people of Adams County as a Deputy District Attorney where he sought justice by balancing the interests of the victim, the community, and the defendant. In addition to his service as a prosecutor, Steve also has over a decade of experience in business as an attorney at Holland & Hart and a consultant/supervisor at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting).
As County Commissioner, Steve is fighting for Adams County working families, protecting the Colorado way of life, and promoting an economy that works for everyone. He is a strong advocate for public safety and fights for affordable quality of life for all Adams County residents.
My passion for public service is proven by my work in the Adams County District Attorney’s Office where I seek justice by balancing the interests of the victim, the community, and defendant. I also served on various community boards including the Adams County Planning Commission, where I always sought outcomes that benefited residents, businesses, and public agencies.
Through hard work, I earned an education, nurtured a family, and established a successful career. I graduated from Colorado State University by working construction during the summers and work-study during the school year. A few years later, I graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law while working full-time in the private sector for a global management consulting company.
FAMILY & COMMUNITY
Dedication to family and community is the foundation of my passion. As a father, husband, homeowner, and taxpayer, I expect our government to spend our money wisely for the benefit of our citizens. I am committed to preserving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents and maximizing economic prosperity for our local businesses.
